Heavy Duty Bolting Lug Units – Robust lugs crafted from high-strength, low alloy ductile iron deliver durability and heft to endure high bolt torques, enabling maximum gasket compression. Engineered with a carefully balanced, low-profile lug design, they facilitate efficient transmission of bolt torque energy to the gasket. Sliding fingers, mutually reinforced, prevent distortion while tightening, ensuring consistent performance. Oval neck track bolts, housed in canted ears, resist turning or rotation during the tightening process.

Addressing Increased Dynamics of Repairs – For pipes with nominal sizes of 10 inches and above, the increased circumference, pressure forces, and required bolt torque necessitate sturdier materials. JCM Extended Range Clamps for sizes 10 inches and larger feature a larger, more substantial bolting lug unit equipped with a 3/4-inch bolt and a thicker gauge stainless steel band.

Heavy Gauge Stainless Steel Band – The stainless steel band’s maximum thickness ensures complete and uniform compression of the gasket around the entire pipe circumference. Clamps for pipe sizes 10 inches and larger, equipped with 3/4-inch bolts, feature a minimum material thickness of 17-gauge stainless steel.

Positive Attachment of Band to Lug – The heavy stainless steel band is securely attached to the lug unit through mechanical compression and strategically placed weld points, ensuring a strong connection that prevents band detachment during or after installation.

Swing Away Bolts – Installation is made easier as the bolt, nut, and washer stay together without any loose parts. Each bolt can be replaced independently in case of damage, ensuring straightforward maintenance.

Thick, Gridded Gasket – The 1/4-inch thick gasket, for sizes 3 inches and larger, conforms to the pipe wall and effectively fills surface pits and voids, aiding in sealing on uneven pipe surfaces.

Molded In Stainless Steel Bridge Plate – Prevents pinched gasket issues common with glued-on plates and ensures an even surface for straightforward installation, along with complete stainless steel encirclement protection.
